Transport crime falls by 95%
Good news for the Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton who have reported a drop in crime rates following the launch of CCTV Cameras, additional street lamps and the introduction of regular fleet patrols.
A dramatic reduction in crime has been recognized since action was taken in 2009 at the Logistics centre in Northampton, which had formerly been known as a major hotspot for lorry crime.
In the last few years firms working in the vicinity have worked together to improve the situation and fund the proposal alongside the scheme; Partnerships for better business.
Other key areas highlighted and funded was the problem of litter, congestion and cost cutting exercises.
