2013 European Supply Chain awards!
Entries are now being considered for the 2013 European Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
This prestigious event is the highest standard of recognition in the industry and includes some of Europe’s largest manufacturers and distributors including Danone and GlaxoSmithKline.
The judging process is particularly challenging and the process of analysis to find the winning supply chain leaders is scrupulous, making the European Supply Chain Excellence Awards very appealing to behold.
The event will take place on Wednesday 6th November, at the Park Lane Hilton in London at a glittering ceremony bash.
One of the biggest shifts in the Awards this year is the Industry Sector category which looks at performance throughout the supply chain. In 2013 the awards will increase from 5 to 8, with new awards including ‘Best 3PL’.
Changes have also been made to special categories including a focus into key supply chain areas and innovation will be emphasized through the special category awards.
Small businesses this year will also get their share of the limelight and be recognized for quality achievements, a new award will be ‘Rising Star’ recognizing individual talent with the supply chain process.
In 2012 entries were the highest recorded since the event began, and more companies shortlisted meaning the calibre of competitors was at its strongest.
The top prize taken last year was by Danone Baby Nutrition, who beat off strong competition from JCB, British Gas, Boots and Nokia Siemens Networks.
