Logistics operators to complete London road safety survey

Logistics operators to complete London road safety survey

15th December 2014

Transport and logistics companies with experience in operating and driving lorries in London are being asked to complete a safety survey about improving the safety of HGVs and their drivers.

Transport for London has commissioned TRL to conduct the research on haulage organisations, which it says will take around 20 minutes to complete.

TRL said it wants to hear from people involved with or have experience of “driving, operating or procuring the services of HGVs in London (inside the M25)”.

This includes owners and directors of transport companies operating HGVs, fleet managers, transport managers, line managers responsible for HGV drivers and drivers themselves, including agency drivers.

For each fully completed survey, a £2 payment will be made to one of three charities chosen by the respondent: Lighthouse Club, Transaid or Railway Children.

All respondents will also be entered into a prize draw.

OSE European provide same-day and next-day express pallet delivery services, as well as complete logistics, haulage, freight forwarding and supply chain management from Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England.
