Greggs to expand motorway service station offering
North-east based enterprise Greggs is to expand its presence after announcing it is going to open a total of 30 branded motorway service station outlets.
Greggs opened two franchised shops in partnership with Moto Hospitality, the roadside chain, earlier this year. The successful trial will lead to the opening of a further 28 outlets.
The expansion is expected to create around 500 jobs and hungry drivers will be able to enjoy Greggs’ range of bakery products including pasties, sausage rolls and sandwiches.
